Legal
Acceptable Use and Anti-spam Policy
Last updated
Purpose
This policy explains what is and is not allowed on ZeyMail. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every @zeymail.com address, whoever holds it.
Not a temporary email service
Every @zeymail.com address is issued by an administrator to an identified person or organisation, protected by a password, and traceable to the administrator who created it. There is no public or anonymous sign-up, and addresses are never handed out for one-off or throwaway use. Messages to an address that does not exist are rejected.
Anti-spam
You must not use ZeyMail to send, or to help send:
- unsolicited bulk or commercial email, or email to purchased, rented or harvested address lists;
- messages with false, misleading or hidden sender information, subject lines or headers;
- marketing email without a clear way to unsubscribe, or to people who have unsubscribed;
- messages that try to get around spam filters, rate limits or blocklists.
Addresses that bounce or complain about mail you send may be blocked from further sending to protect delivery for every user.
Other prohibited use
- Phishing, fraud, scams, or collecting passwords or financial details by deception.
- Sending or storing malware, or links to it.
- Impersonating a person, organisation or government body.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that exploits or endangers children.
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or other rights.
- Anything illegal under the laws of Malaysia or the place where you use the service.
- Trying to access mailboxes or data you are not authorised to use, probing or testing our security without permission, or disrupting the service.
- Reselling or sharing access to an account without our agreement.
Signing up to other services
You may use your @zeymail.com address to register with other websites and services, but only for yourself, or for another person with their knowledge and permission. You must not use ZeyMail addresses to create fake, duplicate or bulk accounts, to evade a ban or limit set by another service, or in any way that breaks that service’s own terms.
Enforcement
If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may warn the account holder or their administrator, restrict sending, suspend or deactivate the address, remove content, and report illegal activity to the authorities. We act on the risk, and may act first and explain afterwards when the service or other people are at risk.
Reporting abuse
Report spam, phishing or other abuse involving a @zeymail.com address to [email protected]. Include the full message with its headers if you can. Delivery and technical problems go to [email protected].
